 We will be having our final Social Studies test on Friday May 22nd. Please study the following;vocabulary words on pages 246 and 247;students must be able to pick out 4 important American landmarks and why they are important pages 264-267;be able to pick out a calendar from ancient times pages 272-275;describe and measure calendar time pages 262 and 263;students must be able to obtain information about a topic using a diagram pages 276 and 277; finally students must draw 4 things that happened in the story An Honest Man pages 284-285. Good-Luck and study hard.

We will be having an english test on Tues. and Wed. of next week. Please study the following;be able to pick out pronouns in sentences pages 228-231;students must know how to use pronouns with verbs pages 232 and 233;students need to study contractions on page 234; homophones on page 235;finally using pronouns in sentences on pages 236 and 237. We will be having a Social Studies test on Friday, March 27th. Please study the following the vocabulary words on pages 198 and 199;know facts about Native Americans pages 202-205;study Squanto, Harriet Tubman, John Smith and Sacagawea; students must know how to read a time line pages 226 and 227;they must also know how to read a history map pages 214 and 215; finally students must kow time order words on page 200 and 201.  Hi! We will be having an English test on Wed. and Thursday this week. Please study the following : students must be able to pick out adjectives in sentences pages 176-178 ; please go over adjectives that compare pages 180 and181 ;also synonyms and antonyms pages 182 and 183 ;please study using commas with names of places pages 184 and 185 ;the test will also cover the prefixes un and re pages 186 and 187 ;finally go over using exact adjectives on pages 188 and 189 . Good- Luck and study hard.

English- We will be finishing a chapter on adjectives . The test will be coming shortly.  Phonics-we will be working on contractions and plural endings. Reading -we will be taking our theme reading test. Math- continue our chapter on two- digit subtraction with regrouping. Soc. Studies- we will start a chapter on Our country long ago.
